Samsung bada 1.2 update for Wave confirmed

If you happen to own the original Wave handset (model number S8500), then we bring you good tidings – Samsung’s official bada Twitter account has just confirmed that the bada 1.2 update for Wave and Europeans using unlocked units will be rolling out in early 2011 – hopefully that means in the month of January itself. As for those living outside of Europe, you will just have to wait for sometime in the first quarter, depending on which country you’re at as well as the operator of your choice. What does the bada 1.2 update bring? Apart from the obvious answer of fixing known bugs as well as improving the security issue, it will also introduce a Swype-like clone known as the T9 Trace keyboard. Will we see world records be broken then with this new update?
