Word on the street has it that the second iteration of the Samsung Galaxy Tab will be powered by NVIDIA’s Tegra 2 chipset, at least according to semiconductor analyst Ambrish Srivastava who is attached to BMO Capital Markets. Guess NVIDIA’s Tegra 2 will feature in many other devices from next year onwards, with Samsung’s Galaxy Tab sequel being one of said devices. This might come across as rather surprising since Samsung themselves have already managed to churn out a dual core successor to their own Hummingbird processor that is at the heart of the current Galaxy Tab. Perhaps Samsung will shed more light on the situation at CES 2011 next January.
