[CES 2011] In an official press release today, Samsung Mobile Display has stated that they will be revealing their latest AMOLED displays at CES 2011 next week. This will include their 4.5″ WVGA Flexible AMOLED screen and the 19″ qFHD Transparent AMOLED for TVs and monitors. So if you didn’t get a chance to catch them when they were displayed in other parts of the world earlier this year, consider checking out these marvelous wonders of technology at CES 2011. The flexible AMOLED display is only 2mm thick and has a folding radius of just 1cm. The transparent AMOLED displays do what their name says – display content on a screen while allowing whatever is behind to show through. Expect them to be used in devices such as car windscreens, windows and TVs. Excited? We sure are, stay tuned for more coverage next week.
