It’s not often that a phone gets one over the iPhone, but Samsung has announced that it has sold over 2 million Galaxy S Android-powered smartphones over in Korea in the six months since it was released. The feat is impressive due to the fact that Apple has sold around 1.8 million iPhones over there since 2009. The Galaxy S series may also be the first Android device/family to reach the 10 million unit mark as total sales have already surpassed 9.3 million and is nearly there. Impressive.
