scala rider G4 PowerSet unveiled

Cardo Systems has just announced the spanking new scala rider G4 PowerSet – obviously, you can’t really tell what it is right from the name itself, but fret not, as we have an explanation for the average Joe on the street. The scala rider G4 PowerSet comprises of two factory-paired units that enables bike to bike intercom communication of up to one mile, setting a new industry standard in the process. If you decide to throw in a third paired G4 unit, needless to say three separate bikers can talk to each other simultaneously. If you think that three’s not a crowd yet, just get two scala rider G4 PowerSet systems for four headsets in total and see them in action as a full duplex intercom communication system between two couples on separate bikes. Best to get riders of similar skill level as well as bikes of a level performance range so that they can keep up with each other. Expect to fork out up to $489.95 for each pair – not exactly the cheapest, but it does play its part in helping you communicate with your riding partner in unfamiliar territory. Something does bug us though – will thieves be using this to pull off a well-coordinated heist?
