Skype for Symbian receives updates

Skype for Symbian has just been updated, as this enhanced application will now be able to support more Symbian-powered smartphones than ever before, among them including the Nokia N8, Nokia C7 and Nokia E5. One of the new features that is thrown into the mix would be SILK, essentially a high quality audio codec which is touted to deliver crystal-clear calls, promising that even when you’re on a low-bandwidth connection. Not only that, the updated app’s interface has also been improved to better fit large displays, making it a whole lot easier to navigate, add contacts or photos.
