With Christmas almost here and 2010 nearly over, companies out there are busy trumpeting their sales figures. While it was reported that Amazon shipped nearly 8 million Kindle eBook readers, it has been confirmed that Sony’s PlayStation 3 gaming console is selling rather well. In the fiscal year ending March 31st, 2011, Sony is well on track to sell 15 million PS3 game consoles, up over 15% from last year’s 13 million consoles. Sony has also announced that it sold 4.1 million PlayStation Move controllers in two months. Not too bad and hopefully it’ll mean a little extra Christmas bonus for Sony employees.
