We’d love to have a cool healing factor like Wolverine, since paper cuts seem to happen quite often in the office. While that’s still a dream, the folks over at the University of Utah have come up with something along those lines as they’ve created a Jello-like substance that accelerates the healing process, allowing burns that would normally take months to heal be mended faster than ever. This is achieved by using stem cells in conjunction with several chemicals that are sprayed-on. The goal of the project is to eventually be able to provide fast and effective regeneration of a patient’s own cells to be grafted onto large area burns.
