Multitouch from Finland who specializes in touchscreen technology has come up with their own version of a Twitter wall at CES 2011, officially dubbed the 2011 International CES Twitter Wall. All tweets will be fed to the wall in real-time from selected hash tags, where among them include the official #CES tag and a slew keywords. All visitors and exhibitors can interact with the Twitter Wall, where it will comprise of at least half a dozen Multitouch Cell 46 displays that measure 3 x 2 feet. You can then open individual posts and move them around according to your liking, in addition to watching videos and viewing photos. All panels that see action on the Twitter Wall measure around 12-inches deep, and they certainly aren’t light at all at around 37 kg each. Depending on the need at the moment, these panels can be configured for horizontal or vertical installations – but of course, it makes much more sense to go horizontal for an event like CES 2011. If you’re interested, the Twitter Wall can be found in the North Hall lobby of the Las Vegas Convention Center from January 6th till 9th, 2011. We will definitely be there to snap a photo of this behemoth!
