Verizon To Get An iPhone Exclusivity Deal For 2011?

Kaufman Bros. analyst Shaw Wu has come up with an interesting opinion on the subject of the Verizon iPhone. According to him, Verizon could be willing to pay Apple to keep the iPhone away from Sprint and T-Mobile, which means that the carrier could be willing to pay for exclusivity to itself and AT&T. He also goes on to claim that Apple got the terms that it was looking for and there will be a Verizon iPhone in 2011. Of course, we’ve heard way too many rumors of a Verizon iPhone already, so we’ll just have to wait this one out and see what happens.

iPhone: iPhone: The iPhone is Apple's line of smartphones. That was also the original name of the first iPhone, which was announced on January 9th 2007 by Steve Jobs during the Macworld Keynote. The iPhone was released to the public in June of the same year. The iPhone represented more than half of Apple's revenues in 2012.

Verizon: Verizon Communications Inc is a broadband and telecommunications company. It is mainly known for its Verizon Wireless division which is the largest wireless carrier in the United States, and one of the largest in the world.
