Having a timer connected to a power outlet in your home is always worth looking into, since this will come in handy during moments where you need to go out of town for a couple of days, and a timer to light up lamps at certain times might just give the impression that someone is at home. Well, the VogDUO timer is not only capable of doing that, but it comes with a quartet of USB ports as well, letting you juice up multiple devices simultaneously – not to mention a built-in timer that lets you specify a 2, 4, 6 or 8 hour charging window. When the timer runs out, you can be sure that there won’t be any vampire power draw from this device, adding up yet another notch of green-ness in your life. It isn’t on sale yet at the moment, but chances are it will be on display at CES 2011 that is happening in a fortnight’s time, so we do hope to catch a glimpse of it in action on the showfloor then.
