Web based Android Market is ready and raring to go The Android Market’s online version is tipped to be right around the corner as promised earlier in the year. According to developer René Hesse, Google recently updated its Market URL convention, which now points toward a http://market.android.com/ prefix, which in turn actually indicates that a system which resembles iTunes more will be launched. After all, in the world of iTunes, clicking on an iTunes link regardless of whether it is software or multimedia will open up a webpage for appropriate content that will then load the Apple software automatically if it is available on your computer.
