WheeMe Massage Robot with Fingerettes

We have recently looked at massage chairs and although they work well, they are bulky and expensive. WheeMe from Dreambotson the contrary is a small robot that steers itself on your back at a speed of 4.5 cm per second, massaging your muscles along the way with is “Fingerettes”. Obivously, the robot works only on your back and belly, as its “rolling” nature makes it unsuitable for lower legs, neck or arms. As you can see, the robot is fairly small (3.9 x 3.5 x 2.3 inches) and it is powered by three AA batteries. It costs $49 and will ship in the spring of 2011. We haven’t tried it, so we don’t know how good (or not) it really is. (video in the full post)
