The number of apps being offered on Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7 Marketplace seems to be steadily increasing. It wasn’t too long ago that we brought the 3,000 app milestone to your attention and now trackers out there are reporting that the store has hit the 4,000 app milestone. Of course, the pace seems to have slowed down slightly since it only took 17 days to jump from 2,000 to 3,000 apps and now it took 20 days to jump another 1,000. Of course, speed and pure numbers won’t be the only factors that determine an app store’s success, but at least it seems to be coming along nicely.
