While Google TV is facing plenty of challenges, Google isn’t giving up on the platform yet and now rumors are going around that Google is adding a filtration system into the Android Market that will prevent users of non-touchscreen devices (such as Google TV) from viewing applications that require touchscreen interaction. Such a move would be incredibly useful if the Android Market arrives on Google TV units, since you wouldn’t want to wade through tons of apps that are irrelevant to your device. Android Market support for Google TV is expected to arrive in the next few months, with March and April marked as potential months for a release.
