After CES 2011, we’re looking forward to seeing Android 3.0 Honeycomb offered on various tablet devices. That being said, some bad news is going around as apparently Asus’ upcoming tablet devices will not ship with Android Honeycomb from the get go. Asus announced its 10.1-inch Slider, Transformer and also 7.1-inch Memo tablets at CES 2011. A representative stated that the spring shipping window and the new operating system were a mistake, and the tablets would instead ship in the summer and would be limited to Android 2.3.
