Atlantic Technology has just unveiled their WA-50 Wireless Audio System – and as its name suggests, it will be able to transmit a full-range stereo signal sans wires up to 150 feet, or 300 feet line-of-sight. Capable of accommodating up to a trio of zones while doing away with the need for super long RCA cables for powered subwoofers or remote amplified speaker systems, those who do not want to trip up over their audio system would do well to consider the WA-50. This solution will also offer applications for rear surround channels, remote Zones, and outdoor speakers, if those are right up your alley. The WA-50 will also play nice with your PC or Mac when connected via a supplied USB cable interface, as you transmit music from the computer to your high-end audio system or to a portable audio system elsewhere in the house. If you decide to pick up the Atlantic Technology WA-50 Wireless Audio System that comes with a transmitter, receiver, UDB Cable, and RCA input and output cables, it will retail for $199 while those who want additional WA-50 receivers and output cables can pick those up for $89 a pop.
