Let’s face it, among all the dedicated e-book readers out there, it is the Amazon Kindle that is king of the hill, although it does have its fair share of flaws. Barnes & Noble’s foray into this niche market has resulted in the Nook 3G, but the company apparently decided that it is time to phase out their original E Ink reader, so if you have been hankering after the Nook 3G, it is advisable to get one before the existing supply runs out since that’s that. You ought to take note that the Nook 3G will feature free lifetime data connectivity thanks to AT&T, but guess that isn’t good enough to move as many units as the Wi-Fi-only model which is also $50 more affordable. Grab the Nook 3G for $199 before it is all out for good, and we don’t think Barnes & Noble will force its stock to finish faster by slashing the prices either.
