All the while, the BlackBerry Curve series (save for the 8900) had always been targeting business users as well as folks who want something functional and yet will not break the bank. RIM (Research In Motion) might just shake things up a little bit by rolling out a next generation Curve smartphone known as the BlackBerry Curve Sedona. While there is no official model number attached to it just yet, it is currently known internally as R010. What makes the BlackBerry Curve Sedona different from the rest would be its rather striking thin form factor that makes it nearly half the thickness of the Bold 9700/80. Running off an an EM1 battery, the BlackBerry Sedona will be equipped with 512MB RAM and runs on OS 6.1 that sports a disturbingly similar notification as Android. Word has it that the current 6.1 build is extremely buggy, but that’s what testing phases are meant for, right? While the screen resolution does seem to be a whole lot higher compared to whatever BlackBerry there is on the market at the moment, we do know the Sedona is on 3G bands 1, and supports GSM/CDMA. We await for further news on the Sedona, especially those concerning availability and pricing.BlackBerry Curve 9350, 9360 and 9370 goes official by RIM
