Remember when we brought you news of a new tablet device from India that will cost a mere $35? Well, that news certainly has its fair share of detractors as well as supporters, but it seems that what was deemed impossible might be canceled in the end since the Indian government is having a hard time keeping to its promise to deliver such a cheap tablet device, at least that is what the Economic Times of India says. Apparently, the vendor who was commissioned to build the Sakshat tablet failed to hold up its end of the bargain, and hence the government has canceled the deal. Good thing the government hasn’t given up hope just yet, and are currently looking for a new vendor to pick up the pieces.
