If you were dreaming of some magical product when you saw the Eee PC Sirocco teaser from Asus recently, you’re probably in for a bit of disappointment. Apparently when the company said it would be “making waves”, it meant that they were revising a netbook with a texturized surface. The new Eee PC 1015PW is more or less the same as the Eee PC 1015PEM and features the usual netbook specs such as a dual-core Atom N550 processor and a 10.1-inch display. As we mentioned, the main difference will be the option of a texturized purple, gold or pink paint job applied on the top of the netbook. You can check out a video for more details of this netbook after the jump and decide if you think it was worth all the hype.
