Apple’s developer release of its upcoming iOS 4.3 Beta 2 has offered some additional evidence that the next-generation iPad will offer a front-facing camera. A preview picture that shows your wallpaper selection in the iPad now shows a homescreen that includes FaceTime, Camera and Photo Booth icons. That being said, even if all these icons did turn into actual apps, it doesn’t confirm that the iPad 2 will feature a rear-facing camera, since FaceTime, Photo Booth and the Camera app could probably operate with only a front-facing camera. With the iPad 2 leaks and rumors coming fast, we’re hoping that it means the tablet is almost ready to be unveiled.
