ScanSnap S1100

Fujitsu has announced that they will be showcasing the ScanSnap S1100 at Macworld 2011 this weekend at Macworld 2011. In addition to putting the scanner on display, they will be giving live demonstrations on how it works. In case you didn’t know, the Fujitsu ScanSnap is an ultra-portable scanner that weighs just over 12 ounces, and can be easily brought around. Powered by a single USB cable, the high-speed ScanSnap 1100 can scan anything from contracts, long receipts, business cards and even plastic IDs. It automatically converts scanned documents into PDFs and can even convert them into editable Word and Excel files. With support for Evernote and Google Docs, you can easily share scanned documents to access them from anywhere. If you’re interested in catching the device in action, head down to the MacWorld expo in San Francisco this weekend.
