Google has introduced a new tool to its uber fast Chrome web browser which has the end goal of assisting you in the protection of your online privacy. Basically, users are able to check out and download the “Keep My Opt-Outs” browser plug-in which will prevent advertisers from collecting personal information, although granted that some antivirus or antispyware programs do offer that albeit for a price. Google is also working on developing additional plug-ins which will allow you to further tailor your advertising experience, but we are more interested to know just how effective this privacy tool is in keeping your data really, really secure behind the digital wall in the long run. Want to share your thoughts on its performance in the comments?
