Want to spruce up your home theater experience? Well, the name Harman Kardon will definitely strike a chord with you, as they deliver their latest home theater soundbar – the Harmon Kardon SB16. This device was specially designed for people who lack the physical space and yet want to enjoy a quality home theater experience, without compromising on picking up a multi-speaker surround solution. Direct connections to a TV, DVD player, video game console or other compatible devices make it all the more convenient for you to place the subwoofer at any position within the same room as the SB16 thanks to its wireless connectivity.
Just what does the SB16 soundbar offer? For starters, how about a two-way, dual-driver, left and right soundbar speaker channels, where each of them will have two 3-inch (75mm) midrange drivers and a 3/4-inch (19mm) dome tweeter? The wireless subwoofer itself will offer a tubthumping 100 watts of power while incorporating a 10-inch (250mm) driver within a ported enclosure. As with most of the other Harmon Kardon products, the SB16 will retail for $600.
