Now this is one way to marry the old and the new, as Incipio comes up with this Game Boy-inspired case for the iPhone 4, boasting a similar button color, texture and placement which is more or less as close to the original Game Boy from Nintendo as possible. It will feature raised button surfaces, recesses around the buttons that represent the original device’s speaker holes, alongside an opening to show off the screen – and iPhone 4’s Apple logo, or course. Needless to say, the legal eagles from Nintendo aren’t going to be too stoked about such a release, hence Incipio will not be rolling out this case from their production line – but it just goes to show the kind of ideas which have birthed from the company as well as their production capabilities. Perhaps if enough people clamored both companies to work hand in hand and deliver this to the marketplace, they might just yield.
