We had previously caught sight of iPad 2 casings, giving us a hint of what to expect from Apple for its next-generation iPad. Now Dexim, a casemaker, has turned up at CES showcasing some casings for the iPad 2. While those cases look consistent with those that have been previously leaked, the interesting thing is that they brought along a dummy iPad 2. The mockup seems consistent with previous leaks, showing the tapered edges and slim design. There isn’t any indication of what the oversized cutout at the bottom will be used for, but by now most folks believe that it’ll be for a speaker. Is someone going to be punished for this, or has Apple been relaxing its legendary security measures recently?
