IK Multimedia presents vocalists with their new iRig Mic that allows for the real-time monitoring of recordings, where it will also be accompanied by a new vocal processing and recording app, which are the AmpliTube app and a quick audio recording app, respectively. Touted to be the first of its kind, the iRig Mic sports a unidirectional electret-condenser microphone capsule that lets you record audio, both near and far. Sporting a built-in built-in windscreen, it is capable of delivering a frequency response of 100Hz to 15kHz, -3dB and 3 percent total harmonic distortion at the highest of the three-level gain settings. With its dual mini-jack connector, it is a snap to simultaneously connect to any compatible iOS device alongside headphones, speakers and amplifiers amongst others for real-time monitoring of recordings. Expect the iRig Mic to set you back by $59.99 when it ships sometime in the first quarter of the year.
