Wait a minute here, you say, how the heck does a graphics card lack any display output? Well, that is exactly what the KFA2 GTX 460 WHDI (Wireless Home Digital Interface) does – thanks to a wireless link which is capable of sending the display output from your PC to your monitor, regardless of whether you decide to work/play on a standard monitor or HDTV. Getting started sounds pretty simple on paper – just attach the bundled receiver to the back of your chosen display and you’re good to go. Using a wireless keyboard and mouse, your ears will be far away from all the noise your computer makes. There are 5 aerials in action here to deliver ‘the most robust and highest quality HD wireless connection for in-room and multi-room applications.’ Sporting a range of 30 meters, the WHDI standard also supports HDCP 2.0, letting it route protected content without missinga beat. It doesn’t seem to be able to do multiple displays at once though, so you will just have to treat this as a standalone 1GB GeForce GTX 460 graphics card for the moment. Out for sale in Europe soon, expect it to be accompanied by a two-year warranty.
