Lenovo IdeaPad Y570d, Y570, Y470 Laptops Get More Muscles

[CES 2011] The Lenovo Y-Series is the best that the company has to offer in terms of high-performance Laptops. They have been updated to the 2nd Generation Intel Core processors (up to Core i7), and can receive a high-end discrete graphics processor like the NVIDIA GT 550M with 1GB of graphics memory.  This means that every single multimedia activity is on the menu, from HD movies to the latest video games.  Those who chose the Y570d, will also have access to stereo 3D graphics and movies powered by NVIDIA 3D Vision.

Design-wise, the Y-Series seem to be made with good quality material, but as you very well know, one can’t ever tell before seeing it in the real world, so we’ll reserve our final judgment for later. Right now this look good on paper, but watch out for how thick these laptops are (35.7mm, or 1.4″), and how much battery life they have (theoretically 4h). Specifications in the full post.
