Sony Ericsson’s LiveView micro display has just received an update, and you should be able to get the update via their update service application. Some of the highlights in the update will include improved stability in the phone application, improved plug-in handling with the limit of number of installed plug-ins increased to 30, and improved connection stability. While there were random boots reported, all of those reported crashes have now been resolved. Those who have installed this update will also realize that it is a whole lot more compatible with competitor phones now where stability and battery life time are concerned. Of course, test lab settings still see a handful of stability and reconnection issues on specific competitor models which are powered by Android 2.2 Froyo, but there is nothing a reboot cannot solve according to Sony Ericsson.
