Remember the patent issue that plagued the HyperMac external MacBook battery where Apple had their way because the former was selling patent-infringing MagSafe cables? Well, the Magic Box intends to turn the tables, allowing you to connect your HyperJuice battery to a MagSafe power adapter from Apple itself without any problems whatsoever. It is pretty small in stature, being no larger than Apple’s iPad 10W USB power adapter, where it will connect to the cord of the MagSafe adapter which your notebook arrived with. You can pick up the Magic Box for $50 when it hits the market this March. Time to rejoice, perhaps? At least it gives you a couple of months to start saving up, right?
