We all knew that CDs are a dying format, but we didn’t think that manufacturers would start removing it from their players so soon. Marantz’s latest audio player, the NA7004 has a plethora of features and options for you to play a large variety of different formats but it won’t play your favorite CDs (if they are in CD form). Which isn’t a problem since you probably have it converted into FLAC or MP3 anyway, right? The Marantz NA7004 has a supports WiFi streaming, DLNA, Internet radio, FM Radio, AirPlay compatibility (with a $49 update), it works as a digital to analog convertor for those of you who want to listen to your digital music on your home audio system that is still running on analog, music streaming support such as Pandora, Rhapsody or Napster, and a USB port for playing music off a USB device. And if you have purchase the Bluetooth receiver for the NA7004, you can also use Bluetooth to play your music on it. What else could you ask for? The Marantz NA7004 will cost you about $799.99.
