Home > Apple > Microsoft trying to scare partners and enterprises away from the iPad?

While Apple’s iPad is dominating the tablet scene at the moment, leaked slides indicate that Microsoft is doing its best to ensure that Apple doesn’t make too many inroads in the enterprise scene. Presentation slides from Microsoft show that the company has been telling its clients and partners what’s wrong with the iPad and how it wouldn’t benefit corporations to use the iPad. Of course, some of the claims are quite subjective, such as the “familiar” Windows 7 interface being an advantage, without taking into account how iOS might be more suitable for a touch-interface device. The presentation was supposed to arrive in December and might hint that Microsoft is worried about losing its corporate base to Apple, especially since Windows-powered tablets haven’t really taken off like the iPad and other Android-powered tablets.
