[CES 2011] Cloud computing is a buzzword that many of us hear these days, and NEC is quick to jump on the bandwagon with the LT-S Cloud Communicator which is powered by the Android operating system. Coming with a 7-inch display, it is carried around more like a diary than anything else. There are relevant hardware keys for button operation, and a SDHC memory card slot for you to store your favorite content. Sporting Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity alongside the option for 3G, the LT-S can link to the NEC BIGLOBE androidnavi application portal – perhaps in Japan only? Other hardware specifications include a 3-megapixel autofocus camera, GPS support and up to 8 hours of battery life. I like the page flipping animation of the comic that was pre-loaded, although it does slow down if your finger moves too fast.
