OCZ is a well-known company that offers DRAM modules for PC enthusiasts, especially those who love performance. If you’re an OCZ fan, the bad news is that the company has announced that it’s abandoning the market. While it’ll come as a shock to many, the reality is that the market for computer memory is a tough one and the company will now place its focus on solid state drives (SSD). Such drives already account for a substantial portion of the company’s revenue and it looks set to grow exponentially as the prices change. While its sad to see such a popular company pull out of the market, at least we have some speedy SSDs to look forward to in the future.
