Palm Pixi Plus bows out from the Verizon Wireless stage quietly

Trolls on Verizon’s web site would probably have noticed that the Palm Pixi Plus is no longer listed as being available for purchase. While this does not come across as surprising since Palm has mostly faded from the rear view mirror of other smartphone competitors, it does mean that the Palm Pre Plus is the sole remaining webOS-powered device via Verizon Wireless. HP (or Palm, either way it is the same) will certainly need to reevaluate the situation as to whether it is worth pursuing a smartphone line since no US carrier has yet to take hold of the Palm Pre 2 at press time.
