Owners of the Pentax K-7 and K-x DSLR cameras might want to take note that Pentax has just released new firmware upgrades for both cameras, offering SDXC card compatibility, boosting your storage capacity, though the bad news is that transfer rates aren’t increased and they certainly won’t hit UHS rates. While the company’s site has already listed the K-7 as a discontinued model, the camera is lucky enough to get increased video editing functions in playback mode, along with improved image sharpening settings.
