Philips focuses on audio this CES[CES 2011] Looking for iPod docks? You won’t go wrong if you knock on Philips’ door. After all, this company is showcasing a wide range of iPod docks (where some of them do iPhones and iPads as well, although those are of a select bunch) as well as iPod alarm clocks. The iPod/iPhone speaker dock range will not only juice up your precious device when it is docked, it will also allow you to wake up to your favorite tunes. The entire range will share the same free app that you can download from the App Store to customize your experience, where the higher end models will have more functionality using the same app – including adjusting the level of bass as well as waking up to your favorite tunes with a photo of your choice. Nothing groundbreaking here, but it sure adds a whole personal touch – I know I would wake up immediately if I saw the face of my boss bearing down on my back! Pricing starts from $50 and can go all the way to $600, depending on the model you decide to bring home.
