Plantronics intends to introduce a revolution where Bluetooth headsets are concerned with their latest release, the Voyager PRO UC. Using smart sensor technology, it will rely on advanced hardware and software which will seamlessly eliminate communication complexity simply by detecting presence and integrating with your computer’s applications – hoping to deliver an enhanced headset experience in the process.
Another thing that makes the Voyager Pro UC appealing would be its Auto Pause for Streaming Media feature, letting you pause streamed music, podcasts, turn-by-turn navigation, and recorded Webinars each time the headset is removed thanks to the aforementioned sensors. Whenever you take a break from your break (get it?), it will resume playback. Various fixtures and fittings include an ultra-portable mini-USB Bluetooth adapter, AudioIQ2 noise cancellation, and the ability to switch from an Instant Message to a voice call through a simple action of slipping the headset into its over-ear position. Out at the end of February, it will retail for $200 – not cheap at all, yes, but think of its features! [Press Release]
