[CES 2011] We do know about the inkless Polaroid Pogo printer that is already available in select markets, but at Showstoppers yesterday evening, we managed to catch Polaroid sporting one – just one, inkless printer that has yet to be named. The Voldemort of portable printers, perhaps? Still using the 4” x 3” inkless paper known as Zink (Zero Ink just in case you do not get the reference), this printer will be released this May for $149.99, and each full charge will be able to last for up to 40 prints – it doesn’t sound like much though. Tipping the scales at 15 ounces, it will connect directly to your camera via USB, and if you decide to print photos from the phone, just use Bluetooth connectivity and you’re good to go. This definitely isn’t too cost effective as a photo booth item for weddings or special occasions as it will most probably need to remain plugged at all times, not to mention the relatively expensive Zink paper.

Update: This printer is known as the Polaroid GL10 Instant Mobile Printer.
