Razer Ferox

Razer has just launched a new pair of portable speakers for the mobile gamer who prefers to share music and sounds from their laptops instead of using headphones or the laptop’s usually inferior speakers. What makes the Ferox (which means fierce in Latin) so special is that these portable speakers emit sound in all directions instead of the regular 90-180 degree angle like regular speakers – giving a much wider sweet spot than ordinary speakers, but also means they are more of an annoyance to people around you if they’re not interested in listening to what you’re doing. The speakers can last for 12 hours on a single charge, which should be more than enough to last through a gaming session, and works with any media player with a 3.5mm audio jack. An ideal solution for sharing music at outdoor parties by the beach or at a picnic in a park, coupled with its small form factor and carry case, it should be a no brainer to bring it everywhere you go. The Razer Ferox is available now and will retail for $59.99. Head here to purchase them.
