BD-D6500

[CES 2011] Samsung have announced 3 upcoming Blu-ray drives that will be sold within the first half of the year. All 3 models will support 3D and full 1080p playback as well as have WiFi built in. The BD-D6500 is the entry-level model of the series won’t have any fancy features such as full HD 1080p up-scaling and 2D to 3D conversion that is present in the other two models, the BD-D6700 and BD-D7000. All models will provide Samsung Apps support and the Smart Hub, and have Smart Blu-ray support. The BD-D6500 and BD-D6700 also allow you to use your Android phone or iPhone as a remote control with an app. The Blu-Ray drives will all be available by the first half of 2011.
