There is a handful of people out there who rock to the new Nexus S, while a sizeable amount of you are having fun with the Google Nexus One – well, sad to say that a certain percentage of both phones’ owners have experience a bug where SMS messages are sent to the wrong person – good thing this bug has been squashed by Google, as the Internet search giant has started to send out maintenance updates. This bug fix will bring the Nexus One to Android 2.2.2, which is different from the much-anticipated upgrade to Android 2.3 Gingerbread, this would mean the software update ends up at version 2.3.2. It does seem as though this update will fix the SMS bug only at the moment without making any other improvements. You will need to be patient though, since these updates will be sent out over the air (OTA) directly to these smartphones, so you ought to be seeing this in the coming days.
