Sony BRAVIA HX820

[CES 2011] This year at CES, Sony is pushing 3D to all gadgets, and TVs are the pinnacle of this mission. The Bravia 3D line is updated with three new models: Bravia HX920 aka the “peak cinematic performance 3DTV”, Bravia HX820 dubbed the “Slim and Stylish cinematic 3D TV” and Bravia HX720 bringing “Internet and 3D on the big Screen”, according to Sony. The NX720 features an ultra-slim LED screen with Monolitic design.  Sony 3D Active Shutter glasses are now rechargeable and have a new lightweight design.

Bravia HDTVs delivers full HD in 3D and 2D, with enhanced picture quality, thanks to its new image processor X-reality and the latest MotionFlow technology that combines LED backlighting with high frame rate, the XR 800 version featured in the Bravia HX820 delivers 800 frames per second! The X-Reality Pro dual-chip processor featured in all 3D models can even boost low quality pictures from the web to near-HD resolution.

Almost all new Bravia LCD TVs are internet enabled, some with built-in WiFi (HX920), some are WLan  enabled and you need to get an adapter, some might rely on Ethernet. Users can browse the web using the Opera web browser to watch video on YouTube or share comments and media files on Facebook and Twitter. Additionally, they can access Qriocity, Sony’s own  video and music on demand  service. The HX920 comes with a camera and a microphone for Skype.
