Sony Ericsson first out with Facebook single sign on supportMartin Essl of Sony Ericsson recently informed audience at Inside Social Apps that all of their Android devices will soon feature Facebook that has already been installed right from the get go, where it will deliver support for Facebook’s single sign on to boot. Sony believes that Facebook is the right platform for social media, so it makes perfect sense to install it at the factory. With over 500 million users and counting, Facebook is the de facto social network du jour, and having it appear on even more mobile platforms makes the snowball even bigger. Sony Ericsson hopes that the presence of Facebook’s single sign-on will deal with authentication issues once and for all where mobile devices are concerned.
