Sony Japan has introduced its latest over-ear headphones, namely the MDR-XB1000, which is aimed at music fans that love deep bass, since it boasts a juicy 2-30,000Hz-frequency range. While the 2Hz low frequency is probably beyond the range of human hearing, it should help to add some punch to bass notes (according to Sony). These headphones are expected to go for sale for $377 over in Japan when released.

Aside from that, Sony has also introduced two new earbuds, namely the MDR-XB41EX and the MDR-XB21EX, both of which support additional bass response and will be released in Japan on February 10th. The XB41EX offers a 13.5mm driver while the XB21EX uses a 9mm driver. Both earbuds are available in various colors, such as black, blue, and red, not to mention some multi-color combinations. Expect to pay $75 and $45 for the XB41EX and XB21EX respectively.
