Don’t you just get annoyed when you’re watching a movie and suddenly other people walk into the room and talk loudly, distracting you from the best parts? Here’s where the Sound Egg comes in. This invention that’s been around since the late 60s has been updated to suit today’s lifestyles. The Sound Egg is basically an egg-shaped chair that is fitted with a full surround sound system. To top it all off, it is padded with sound-isolating foam to ensure all the sounds stay within the egg for your listening pleasure. It comes with a Blu-ray drive, and an optional mechanical arm mount for you to attach an LCD screen, effectively blocking you from seeing or hearing the outside world. But these Sound Eggs don’t come cheap though – at $1,500 each, you’ll have to think about it before splurging on one (unless of course, money is of no concern to you). Or you could always just lock the door to your TV room. Head here for more details and hit the break to watch a video about the Sound Egg.
