Steve Woz thinks white iPhone 4 delayed due to camera

Many folks are still busy wondering when the white iPhone 4 will be arriving and now Apple’s co-founder Steve Wozniak (aka Woz) has given some ideas as to what might be causing the delay. Woz previously purchased some white iPhone 4 components and created his own white iPhone 4, after that he noticed that any photo taken with the flash on looked as though it were taken through cellophane, due to the spillover light, which would definitely become an issue, since the flash is an important feature of the iPhone 4. Aside from that, he also noticed that there were some issues with the proximity sensor.

That being said, you’d want to remember that Woz isn’t officially speaking on Apple’s behalf and he isn’t using an “official” white iPhone 4, so there might be some discrepancies, though it could be one of the reasons as to why this phone has been delayed.
