The Dutch tend to do things differently, and if the latest news of a mobile carrier from the Netherlands is anything to go by, you know it will offers an alternative viewpoint from what most people are normally used to. After all, a city that legalizes grass is definitely revolutionary from a certain vantage point, right? We just have word that T-Mobile Netherlands is willing to unlock your iPhone for free – yup, this move will most certainly raise the ire of our friends living in the Great White North, where Rogers and its Fido subsidiary are charging an outrageous CAD$50 to unlock an iPhone. According to T-Mobile Netherlands, this is because multiple Dutch carriers now offer the iPhone and they no longer feel the need to keep it SIM-locked. We don’t know what they’ve been smoking, but it is definitely a refreshing attitude.
